Hier k\u00f6nnen Akteur:innen der Tanz und Performing Arts Szene aus unterschiedlichen Ansichten und Erfahrungsspektren gegenseitig sch\u00f6pfen und lernen.<\/p>\n\n<p>F\u00fcr More is More #04 <strong>Faire internationale Praxis <\/strong>laden wir <strong>Esther M. Siddiquie<\/strong> und <strong>Simona Deaconescu<\/strong> ein, \u00fcber ihre Erfahrungen als Stipendiatinnen des NRW Kultursekretariat Tanzrecherche 2022 Programms und \u00fcber k\u00fcnstlerische Recherchen, die Welten zusammenbringen, zu reflektieren.<\/p>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nrw-kultur.de\/programme\/tanzrechercher-nrw\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.nrw-kultur.de\/programme\/tanzrechercher-nrw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tanzrecherche NRW<\/a> ist ein internationales Stipendienprogramm f\u00fcr Tanzk\u00fcnstler:innen, das produktionsunabh\u00e4ngige Recherche unterst\u00fctzt. F\u00fcr 2022 wurden f\u00fcnf Stipendiat:innen ausgew\u00e4hlt, die internationale Impulse nach NRW bringen oder den interkulturellen und transdisziplin\u00e4ren Dialog mit Tanzk\u00fcnstler:innen im Ausland f\u00f6rdern. Darunter auch die rum\u00e4nische Choreografin und Filmemacherin Simona Deaconescu, die die sogenannten historischen \u00bbTanzepidemien\u00ab entlang des Rheins im 14 Jh. untersucht. Als NRW K\u00fcnstlerinnen hat Esther M. Siddiquie eine Recherche im Ausland geplant, wo sie in Harare, Simbabwe, auf der Suche nach Verbindungen zu ihren Vorfahren in lokale Bewegungspraktiken eintaucht.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Esther M. Siddiquie<\/strong>\u2019s work situates the body as a co-author within the archive. As part of her research, she explores the potential of bodily encounters and archival materials as a means of knowledge production. Her works have been presented at the New Lab in Brooklyn, IAC, Tanzhaus NRW, the German Consulate General in New York, Kunstmuseum Bochum, Dance Umbrella Festival, The Place, Sadler\u2019s Wells, atelier automatique, Tatwerk. She is a founding member of the collective B.EEF. Most recently their work <em>Rituale der performative Selbst-Inventarisierung <\/em>was presented at Spinnerei in Schwelm. She is a 2022 DIS-TANZ-SOLO and Tanzrecherche NRW recipient. In 2022 she performs in the works of Charlotte Triebus and McIntosh Jerahuni. She holds a BA (Hons) from London Contemporary Dance School and an MFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Siddiquie is an Artistic Associate at the School of Dance at the University of the Arts Philadelphia where she curates the UArts Love Caf\u00e9 Conversations focusing on collectivity as a research method. She is a PhD candidate at Goldsmith University in Advanced Practices.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Simona Deaconescu<\/strong> is a Romanian choreographer and filmmaker working across genres and formats. She examines social constructs, at the border of fiction and objective reality, sometimes with irony and black humor. Her work in research-based, looking for scientific contributions to the field of dance, as well as marginal historical events about resilient and political bodies. She holds a BA and a MA at the choreography department of the National University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest and a BA in Film Directing at the Media University in Bucharest. She received the danceWEB scholarship in Vienna (2014), the National Centre for Dance in Bucharest Award (2016), was an Aerowaves Twenty18 and Twenty22 Artist, and a Springboard Danse Montr\u00e9al Emerging Choreographer in 2019. In the past years, she has been an artist in residence with the European Projects <em>Moving Digits<\/em> and <em>Biofriction<\/em>. In 2022 she is an Associated Artist with the National Centre for Dance in Bucharest and a Forecast Mentee. In 2014, Simona Deaconescu founded her own project-based company \u2013 Tangaj Collective and since 2015 she is the artistic director of Bucharest International Dance Film Festival.
